How about fishing those dark and murky depths where there is very little light available? Even Fishtek lures might go unnoticed where there is no light to reflect! Fishing below 200 feet or so, even in clear water, is fishing in the dark. The answer - luminous heads!
This picture was taken using no other light source than the head itself. It hasn't been tweaked at all in a photo editor. The text 'Lumo Head' is written on the paper behind, and you can read it by the light coming from the lure.
